Crewmember of the month:

Hi! My Name is Erik Rijk, Senior Salesforce Developer at 2ManyDigits.

I worked as a developer for more than 15 years. Started my career in online marketing as a PHP Developer and over the years I have had different roles in different types of organizations. Almost 5 years ago I got introduced to Salesforce. 4 certifications and 2 multinationals later, happy to join 2ManyDigits!

Why did you join 2ManyDigits?

After a catch-up call with one of the 2ManyDigits partners, I started to realize even more what I was missing in my previous job and what I was looking for is what they were doing. We had a few more calls and the rest is history.

What does a typical day look like?

After waking up, time for some coffee! Depending on the work location I will either turn on the laptop or pack my bag to head to the train station.

After a day of working I like to spent some time in the kitchen to prepare a nice meal. If the weather is good, going for a 45 minute walk around the park to clear my mind. The rest of the evening is usually a combination of practicing my guitar playing skills, watching some tv or do a workout.

What’s your fuel?

A good cup of coffee in the morning. You can wake me up for spareribs, sushi and definitely Thai food! Combined with a nice cold beer, and we’re good to go! (on a day off that is 😉)

How do you relax?

Absolutely spending time outside, I can walk for hours in the “Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen” or the “Veluwe”.

So what’s your guilty pleasure?

I don’t know..

Tell us about your current Spotify playlist

I’m a huge fan of rock music but heavier than that is also perfectly fine for me. You will find Metallica, Green Day, Linkin Park as popular, wide known bands. But the next day I might only listen to lounge.

Which book did you recently read that you can recommend?

Not really a book reader anymore, but please reach out with your recommendations 😉
